A condensed list of Club 77 Resident Reenie’s favourite tracks of 2025.
Club 77 Resident Reenie’s favourite tracks of 2025; from computer generated ambience to bouncy Italian grooves, rock releases and vinyl presses.
A collection indicative of Reenie’s versatility behind the booth. Future forward and unexpected; while still leaning into a style that feels fun and true to self.
I love some bleepy bloopy music and this is as bloopy as it gets! Just some quality analogue ambience that tickles the back of my brain in just the right way, buuuurgggghhhh.
If Paranoid London released a remix that was just them farting into a delay pedal I’d probably still play it at the club. Anyway this track goes incredibly hard, proper acid chugger that is primed to melt craniums on the DF. The electro pioneers can do no wrong.
This record literally just arrived in the mail yesterday- single sided 12” – high NRG synth disco edit from Matt Cash and James Murphy. It has a great bouncey italo groove and an edgy English vocal, what else could you want? (get orff ur hi whorse)
Thank god this record is FINALLY out. Sydney band 'The Melodrones's' self-titled album is my favourite local 2025 release so far- this single is especially fun too. A great Sydney band who are destined for great things. Support live music too, they’re cracking irl.
This LP is the latest music from this Turkish-psych- Anatolian -folk -rock pairing, real groovy stuff. I got into them when one of their previous records was released on the incredible Swiss label ‘Les Disques Bongo Joe.’ It's pretty lush.
Catch Reenie all night long this Saturday 24 May at Club 77.
