December at 77 ✦ Have we just dropped our biggest lineup of 2025?

As summer kicks off and the urge to get loose takes hold, we’ve well and truly saved the best for last, locking in a stacked roster handpicked with trusted homegrown selectors, international guests, and collaborations with some of the city’s finest collectives. Flex yourself for long lost nights on our famed dance floor with a full spectrum of club sounds on offer. Oh, and did we mention a massive NYE party?

Thursdays are well and truly back in December with two guest hosts each bringing their own unique flavour to the club. Leading the charge is Pho The Girls, the all-female, non-binary and trans collective helmed by Maggie Tra, championing inclusivity and global-minded club sounds. Kicking off on Thursday December 4th, Maggie will be joined by Nadia Sandiego and Kimi Hendrix. Then on Thursday 18th, Sydney legend, Panorama Bar alumni and long-time friend of the club, Deepchild, brings his atmospheric, dub-leaning techno and house to Club 77 all night long.

The end of the week brings a full scope of eclectic sounds to Fridays at 77, kicking off with a Chuleo Club takeover on December 5th featuring Zalina, Ōlita, Bebecito, Fabz and La Foxy Fuzz - a high-energy blend of global club sounds and dance floor mischief from the Melbourne collective. On December 12th, Monique Tya and Command D keep the momentum rolling with deep selections spanning house, breaks and bass-driven rhythms. On December 19th, Club 77 resident Jhassic is joined by rising DJ and producer Iti, whose excellent releases on Butter Sessions and Pocketmouth have been turning many heads.

77’s flagship Saturday nights kick off on December 6th with resident young gun Mazzacles in full control, joined by fellow Eora selector Tarj. On December 13th, good friend of the club and Dollar Bin Darlings founder Aunty Jonny brings a heavy dose of disco goodness alongside the ever-reliable Reenie. Our first international guest of the month arrives on December 18th when Parisian favourite Matt Ma Moustache steps into the booth, supported by Sydney’s own prince of funk Boogie Monster and Planet Trip bossman Mike Who. Rounding out Saturdays for a fitting finale, we hand the reins to one of the country’s finest, Phil Smart, joined by another legend of Australian dance music, Francis Xavier.

We’ve teased the return of Sundays with a handful of special parties over the past couple of months, but now we’re back in full force throughout December, settling into a weekly rhythm of adventurous programming led by two cutting-edge Eora crews. Headnoiz, the beloved collective helmed by DJ Zoik and Telly, takes over the club on Sunday the 7th with Grevillea and Bichue, returning again on the 21st with Ascensionist and Hux. Meanwhile, Control - the Eora club night and mix series dedicated to creating space for women and queer artists - brings its own curated magic across two Sundays. Championed by Estée Louder, Control welcomes Sveta and La Figa on December 14, followed by Marie Malarie and Jo Christy on the 28th in collaboration with UHaul Dyke Rescue.

Ending 2025 in style, we’re kicking off the final stretch with a special soirée as Bangkok’s finest, and one of Mixmag’s ‘Artists to Watch in 2024’, Pam Anantr, returns to Club 77 on Monday 29th, joined by Brisbane’s underground hero and A Love Supreme founder Benny Chiu. Finally, it’s time to farewell the year with Swiss-born, Berlin-based C3D-E, who headlines our massive New Year’s Eve celebration. Supporting him are two of Eora’s finest: Red Bull Music Academy alum and multi-hyphenate Lorna Clarkson, and longstanding local hero and Boiler Room inductee Barney Kato.
