Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate and driven Event Sales Coordinator with a strong background in event sales, preferably in nightclubs and/or bars. As the Event Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in securing midweek functions and events, while driving revenue growth for the business. You will be responsible for cultivating strong client relationships, comfortable with cold calling potential clients and leads, meeting potential clients on-site to show them the venue, and providing the operations team with the necessary information to successfully implement and carry out events.

In addition to being customer-focused, you will need strong administration and event management skills. You must have the drive and desire to help build a multifaceted business, coupled with a positive, can-do attitude. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and collaboration directly with Club 77’s directors and management team.

You Will Be Expected to:

Lead in the execution of an outstanding customer experience:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Ensure timely responses to new and existing clients, setting high standards for customer engagement and interaction.

• Provide a flawless booking experience for each client, exceeding their needs and expectations.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer interactions across multiple touch points and channels.

• Promote equality, inclusivity, and diversity.

Drive Revenue Growth for the Business:

• Actively engage in new business development through networking, industry research, and cold calling.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry and event professionals, universities, and the electronic music community.

• Handle objections effectively during the sales pitch phase to facilitate sales conversions.

• Conduct face-to-face venue walk-throughs with potential clients, selling them the venue and the experience.

• Report on event sales performance, event outcomes, and client feedback, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Develop and implement strategies to grow current and external event revenue streams.

Complete Administrative Tasks

• Prepare and send booking requests and event contracts via our booking platform, Muzeek.

• Provide our accounts team with the customer and event details, so invoices can be generated and emailed.

• Provide our management team with the customer and event details, so run sheets can be developed and populated.

• Oversee the handling of customer complaints and concerns, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.

• Maintain a database of new and existing clients.
