Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for passionate, customer experience-focused bartenders with a strong background of working in high volume nightclubs and or bars. On top of being a customer focused role, you will have a strong understanding in the responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and associated compliance. A sound understanding of nightclub and or bar operations is a must, with an interest in electronic music a plus.
You must possess the drive and desire to help build a multifaceted business coupled with a happy-go-lucky attitude. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, working directly with Club 77’s director and its management team.
Expectations:
LEAD IN THE EXECUTION OF AN OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Work as part of the team in providing an outstanding customer experience, bar service and operations, responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and WHS practices
- Set high standards for customer engagement and interaction
- Be able to liaise with customers, staff and members of the public in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner
- Identify enhancements and efficiencies to improve the customer experience
- Promote equality, inclusivity, and diversity
BAR OPERATIONS AND SALES
- Prepare, mix and serve drinks
- Prepare and cut garnishes
- Drive revenue growth by upselling products and through active promotions
- Enter transactions into the point of sale (POS), ensuring items are rung up correctly
- Receive cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Ensure wastage is recorded correctly
- Conduct stock counts and restock the back bar, fridges and spirit creates
- Setup and pack down of the bar
- Keep a neat and tidy workplace
- Ensure the venue operates to a high level of compliance, always promoting the licensing objectives of the venue
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid New South Wales responsible service of alcohol certificate
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience of working in a high-volume nightclub and or bar environment
- Experience of working in a fast paced, customer facing environment
- The ability and motivation to work late nights
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A sound knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Numeracy and cash handling skills
