Helmed by Martin O’Brien, with production credits alongside Mike Koeppel, this film spotlights key figures like Brian Behlendorf, DJ Harvey, DJ Dan, and DJ Doc Martin. It delves into the DIY spirit and psychedelic community vibes that defined the era.
The doc sheds light on how these all-night electronic dance gatherings attracted diverse crowds and sparked a wave of future influencers in Silicon Valley, global dance music circles, and activism realms. As O’Brien puts it: “The film was made to take viewers on a journey back to an early ’90s music scene that has since grown into the hugely popular EDM/electronica phenomenon across the globe.”
