DJ PGZ is a Gunai/Kurnai & Yorta Yorta artist, DJ and producer, harnessing a deep love for underground club sounds from around the world. His sets explore the contemporary works of Black and Brown producers in dance music, fusing hard techno with dark, sparse and bass heavy drum syncopations. With an appetite for anything that makes you move, dj pgz’s genre bending style is truly all killer and no filler. Alongside an illustrious DJ and production career, dj pgz has cemented himself as a mainstay in the Australian music scene through his work as a radio presenter (Good Static on Triple R), filmmaker (Young Mob Questioning Treaty), drummer (DRMNGNOW & Kee’ahn) and co-curator of the BLK ICE event series with many new and exciting projects on the horizon.
KSMBA is a Naarm-rooted classical maestro who has transitioned into the role of a DJ, enchanted by the modern tones of rhythmic, profound, and drum-driven dance music. Having shifted their focus towards electrifying the dance floor, their sets fluidly traverse various genres, woven with a nuanced exploration of sound, timbre, vigor, and motion.
Raised in Tulmur/Ipswich and now based in Meanjin/Brisbane, dameeeela has steadily amassed a following and reputation as one of the city's most in-demand selectors. An ability to cater to any genre, audience and energy from hip hop to acid to the classics and back again is what brings listeners back time and again to dameeeela; mixes bursting with electric passion and rife with experimentation, combined with ongoing reminders of club music’s origins in Black culture. dameeeela boasts a live resume that includes warming up stages for iconic artists from Skepta and Tyler, the Creator to Charli XCX, Anderson .Paak, Genesis Owusu, Wiki and Skin On Skin amongst others, including appearances at Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Listen Out, Laneway, Pitch Music & Arts, Groovin The Moo, BIGSOUND and more. Based in Melbourne, Australia DJ Ali's production skills and live set's have traveled throughout the underground scene. With an extensive history as a musician, it becomes clear that his past involvement in death metal bands as a guitarist reflects a distinct harmony between his past and his present, best characterized by his devotion to live sets. DJ Ali represents his sounds now within the genres of Techno, Hard Techno and Trance. Now with a number of releases under his name DJ Ali is set out to produce and release more music in the coming years.
