Freda:
For the past 8 years, Freda has been a prominent DJ in Sydney's ever-changing nightlife scene. Releasing music through Moonshoe Records, a label founded and operated by Jackson Fester (aka Cousin), the duo has performed live at renowned festivals like Inner Varnika, Hopkins Creek, and Freedom Time. These days, you can find Freda spinning tunes every other weekend at various Sydney hotspots, including Club 77, Vibe Positive, and Fruit Bowl.
Casey:
Born in Sydney/Eora, Casey is a talented DJ and radio presenter who began her journey at community radio stations before becoming the host of 'Jump To It' on Nomad Radio. With years of experience at stations like FBi, Skylab, Triple R, and Nomad, and playing tunes in Sydney and Melbourne, Casey's sets take listeners on a journey through groove, soulful cuts, leftfield house, RnB, and more, showcasing her ever-evolving sound and diverse collection.
Global Sounds:
Leon Kannangara is a DJ and the founder of the Global Sounds based on the unceded lands of the Burramattagal people of the Darug nation (Parrramatta). His Global Sounds project captures music from the past and around the world. Highlighting the forgotten gems of Funk, Ethno grooves, Disco, Chicago House and Soul music. Growing up Parramatta, his vision is to add to and radiate the multicultural society of the area through Music, Art, Design, Food and Experience. The Global Sounds project aims to unite and collaborate with collectives and crews to help uplift the Sydney music scene.
