Utilising both digital and analog cameras she thrives when capturing people & events. Inspired by years of engaging on dance floors conducted by friends Gabby began DJing in 2018. Under the alias Afrodisiac, Gabby has now made herself known to an extensive array of dancefloors around Naarm. Afrodisiac's track selections have a strong focus on exploring the Black Diaspora. Andrew Wowk, an Eora (Sydney) based DJ, producer, radio host, promoter, and writer, is renowned for his unique blend of techno to leftfield electronica. Under the alias End User License Agreement, Andrew's releases have been celebrated on several labels, including a notable spot in Beatport's and Juno's 2021 best releases. Both as a DJ and a producer, Patrick Gräser aka Answer Code Request has honed a hybrid musical approach that stands out in a world of uniform 4/4 techno. Melding pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks and an industrial sonic palette, Gräser has occupied a unique space within the Ostgut Ton cosmos since debuting on the label in 2012 and becoming a Berghain resident shortly thereafter. His various releases and remixes for Ostgut Ton, MDR, Dolly Deluxe and Monkeytown Records continue to be highly sought after. As a DJ, he has taken his bass- and breaks-heavy techno to clubs and festivals around the globe, while remaining an integral part of the Berlin scene.

Sim Cheuanghane is an Eora based DJ, multidisciplinary creative and anthropology graduate who DJs under the moniker E3P. Consistently inconsistent, their mixes embrace a range of sounds with a curatorial approach. Weaving the gentle with the glitchy, they’re driven by creating considered and emotive mixes. As part of lineups hosted by d.street, nexus, purespace and soft centre, Sim has supported the likes of Djrum (UK), Upsammy (NL), Maara (CA), and ABADIR (EGYPT).

Eden Burns is a DJ and producer hailing from the deep south of Aotearoa/New Zealand. As a teenager, he
connected with the world of dance music via scuffed tech-house records in dollar bins and a DVD rip of Paris Is Burning. Drawing on these inspirations, his early productions hit a sweet spot between wide-eyed weirdness and club-ready maximalism. He was quickly released on Feel My Bicep and Cold Tonic, and began an upward trajectory from the Taieri Plains to clubs and stages worldwide. Much like his productions, Eden’s DJ sets are reverent and wildly fun, the product of an innately curious talent. Whether in the booth at Rinse FM or NTS, or in front of crowds in London, Dunedin, or Japan, Eden has a habit of weaving sets that are rich and unpredictable, interspersing phases of driving momentum with joyful curveballs and blissful reveries — moments that feel like turning the corner on a precipice and suddenly seeing ocean.

But if you haven't heard her play records then you are one colour shy of a full rainbow my friend. Living music day-in-day-out, she doesn't just have a finger on the pulse, she is the pulse! Keeping an ear on all that crosses the threshold of her workplace, while also being an archaeologist on a never ending dig to unearth precious gems, Emelyne's musical tastes are sweeter than sapote and healthier than sugar. With a tendency towards pommy sound, there's method to the mastery too. Dub gold, broken beat brilliance and localised genius are sounds commonly found in the Emelyne collection.

Habibi Funk, the brainchild of Jannis from Jakarta Records, is a DJ and record label championing overlooked music from the Arab world's 60s to 80s era. Driven by his passion for funky, soulful, and psychedelic tunes, Jannis has extensively toured North Africa and the Middle East, unearthing rare musical gems that challenge stereotypical perceptions of the Arab world. Apart from producing seven popular mixes, Habibi Funk Records has reissued six records, with an energetic DJ live set showcasing a unique blend of rare vinyls from across the region.

Lifelong Request aka Seiya began his career as a DJ in Japan in 2009 and became a part of the party known as "CHOUTSUGI." This collective has invited a variety of DJs and artists from both domestic and international backgrounds, including DJ Aakmael, AL Zanders, Andy Vaz, Harvey Sutherland, Hugo LX, M5K, and Pablo Valentino. In October 2019, he relocated his base of activity to Australia. Starting in Melbourne, he performed at over 30 gigs in just five months, including support for a party hosted by Butter Sessions and a broadcast on PBS FM. Later, in June 2020, he moved to Bundaberg, where he focused on discovering new records, enjoying the beautiful weather, and engaging in farming. Recently, he has been primarily DJing at "Club 77" since resettling in Sydney.

From a suburban childhood soundtracked by the family’s cumbia records, to holding down the rhythm section in cult indie band, Lost Valentinos, to their work in establishing the warehouse techno institution that is Motorik; It’s no stretch to say that the Santamaria brothers have been a significant part of Sydney’s music community for well over a decade. This musical journey has seen the brothers play the roles of musician, DJ, producer, promoter, record label A&R, removalist and janitor... sometimes all at the same time, sometimes failing spectacularly, but always fresh as hell, and always looking forward. In recent times, the Santamarias have turned their curatorial expertise towards their “Cities of Gold” residencies (Sydney & Byron Bay); a home for their patented, long-form DJ sets which range wildly from latin jazz, to acid techno; encompassing all the rhythmic shades in-between. In their spare time, the brothers contributed as co-founders of Sydney’s Output festival in 2017 and to cap it all off, are on-air every Friday evening, hosting FBi Radio’s coveted Sunset program.

It was dark days, back in 2011. The party was flat, the records had no fizz and the rave had expired. Enter the Motorik Vibe Council. Coming at this game hard, with a mission to raise the level of party discourse. Educated at Bang Gang High, with further studies at the Berghain Institute of Techno and careful post-grad research with legends of the game like Ewan Pearson. One of them even has an ARIA award for excellence in the field of dance. Moving their self-titled parties virtually every single time, from basements of abandoned comedy clubs to male strip joints/life painting establishments, constantly pushing the boundaries of style, taste and the law. Eventually, the Vibe Council found themselves inside a warehouse, and, as they say, a legend was born.
